Since SuperSprings International inception we have made a point of listening to our customers’ requests, queries and ideas to supplement and improve their vehicles suspension; regardless of whether this involved our product or that of another manufacturer.

What became evident from air-spring users was that when their air-bags were substantially pressurized - to accommodate increased loads - the stock, factory installed overload springs became completely ineffective. As the airbags are inflated, they expand both vertically and horizontally. The vertical expansion creates additional separation between the factory overload spring and the frame mounted, contact plate or “snubber”. This increased separation prevents the overload springs from contacting the “snubber”; thereby prohibiting them from performing as designed.

With heavily loaded vehicles and in particular those with a high centre of gravity (truck campers) these factory overload springs are paramount to maintaining vehicle stability and reducing body-roll.

Supersprings International developed the SuperSway-Stops; an extremely easy-to-install, bolt-on solution for simply closing the gap between the factory overload springs and the contact plate. This anti-sway suspension solution incorporates micro-cellular polyurethane foam which possesses excellent spring properties. This material is characterized by high memory retention that does not dissipate over time. It also has a true progressive rate spring curve, providing additional resistance under greater loads. Additionally, the material is extremely durable, having been used in commercial applications for over 25 years.

Allows the factory contact overload springs, previously rendered useless by installation of air springs, to kick in almost instantly, greatly improving the handling and reducing the sway of the truck.
